This a collection of tools, software, website and other resources I use myself for my various business projects. As you explore your ideas, you'll come across others that will prove helpful, so make sure you write them down. Don't just bookmark them. Make a note of why you think they work for you. Try to filter out the items that are interesting but don't actually contribute to your business.

Web and Domain Hosts I Use for My Sites
Blue Host - I have three sites on Blue Host (the oldest has been there for several years) and fortunately have never had trouble with them. If you're new at this, I think you'd find their one-click installation simple to use. I've found their support to be excellent and responsive.
Hostgator- I also use this company without any problems. You'll see this name come up alot when you're looking for reliable inexpensive hosting, especially if you just starting or want to experiment with a online business idea.
GoDaddy.com My three major domain names are hosted with Go Daddy. I also like to search through their auctions looking for expired domains that might be worth looking at further as a possible website.
NetworkSolutions.com hosts two of my domains since the late 90s. It was an early company, probably one of the oldest domain hosts, and I just never had a reason to change from it.
Various Other Tools and Sites I Use for My Business
SmallBizAbroad.com uses the WordPress platform and the Headway Theme that I customized myself fairly easily.
Chris Farrell Membership - I use this site alot because of the wealth of resources and information on it related to online business. If you're new to business on the web, you might want to take a few minutes and check out all the free stuff.
eFax- This service has been very helpful. Basically what you do is signup for a fax number and you can receive or send faxes online (meaning they are sent to your email). This way you can read your faxes no matter where you are, and don't need to depend on a physical fax machine in your office or home.
Aweber is the system I use for the email newsletters and the sign up for the free ebook. If you're online, you need this. it's very reliable and has a lot of tutorials and other help available.
Free Image Library (from Microsoft) – I use this library of images, illustrations and photographs all the time. It's fast to use and easy to search. And FREE!
Icons, etc – offers free icons and clipart stock images.
